About the Lecturer:


Sankhayan Choudhury is Professssor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Calcutta. He obtained the B.Tech. (1988) and M.Tech. degree (1990) in Computer Science & Engineering from University of Calcutta and completed his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. Research interests of Choudhury include Data Modeling, Mobile Computing and Web Engineering. He has published more than fifty peer reviewed papers in International Conference Proceedings, Journals and has one patent. At present he is also associated with a research project on "Remote Health" sponsored by Department of Information Technology, Government of India. Dr. Choudhury is also responsible for World Bank funded project Technology Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP, Phase II), Calcutta University as a coordinator. He is a professional member of ACM and an executive committee member for the local ACM professional chapter in Kolkata.
